Myth & Magic - The Frog Prince

Hope you are all having a lovely week-end, it's time for another fab challenge over at Here Come the Boys Challenge Blog. The theme this week is Myth and Magic, not an easy one for me, but I love my little punch art frog. My moto is you need to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince! This would make a fun anniversary card for the man in your life IMHO.

Do pop over and check out the other lovely cards on the blog

Punch Art

Stampin up punches are some of my favourite products and it always amazes me the wonderful things you can create from a couple of simple shapes. Here are some of the best; The very sweet lamb is made from the scallop punch, word window punch, 1/2 inch circle, oval punch and the smallest flower from the boho blossoms punch. I stamped the cardstock for the gate with the Sanded Background stamp to give a bit of a wood effect. This owl is just so cute. We stamped a background for him using the tree in the Forest Friends stamp set and used the new jewellery tag punch and tiny word stamps for the greeting. The round tab punch, scallop punch, boho blossom, 3/4 inch and 1/2 inch circle punches were used to make him.

Finally but by no means least our fierce little lion (or is it Clarence the Cross Eyed Lion, remember him?). He really is the King of the Jungle. He is made from the scallop circle punch (punched twice), 1/2 inch circle, oval punch and boho blossom punch.

We really enjoyed this class and I will definitely be looking for some more characters to try. This class will be coming up in Romford next week, so if you fancy coming along just email me to reserve a place.

Thanks for looking
