Very sorry to those who planned to come along to the Docrafts Event on Saturday, I have the flu and am feeling very sorry for myself so I will not be able to do this event. It looks as though it may have to be cancelled as all the other demo's are busy tomorrow.
Hopefully it will get rescheduled.
Once again my apologies.

Busy Week
Still full steam ahead with Stampin Up. I had two taster classes last week and enjoyed meeting everyone. More classes coming very soon. In the meantime here are a couple of my Stampin Up projects including the cutest little box. This will be featured in an upcoming class shortly.
Despite it being so hot I had my first Xmas demo with Docrafts on Sunday and it took quiet an effort to get into the mood. I hope those that made it to Invicta Crafts enjoyed the demo despite me being so clumsy!
I am at The Range in Clacton on Saturday, so do come along if you are in the area.

Just the last couple of cards from my recent demo at Hobbycraft last week. Combining stamping with nesties and the BigzXL die. The sentiment stamps are from one of the Stampin Up Hostess sets 'Best Yet.' I also used the fabulous scalloped punches and tag punches.

New Photo's

Yay a new post from me in the same week! and some photo's too, from my demo on Saturday at Hobbycraft in Maidstone, Had a lovely day but it was a bit quiet. Thanks to all those who came to say hello. A couple of cards here show the cuttlebug folders using ink to make the backgrounds. You need to open up the folder brayer on some ink (not permanent) dye based are best so you can wash it off. Put you card in and run through the machine. Depending which side you ink up depends how the pattern comes out. I put the ink on the side with the cuttlebug logo. I love the Inkandinkado rock start acrylic stamps. Was pleased with this girly pink version.

Bad Blogger
My apologies that I have not been able to update, this due to techie problems and just plain old lack of time at the moment. I have missed out my last set of demo cards but will try and take some photos shortly of the ones I have left. But guess what? my next box of goodies is due next week, hurray. But it is Christmas Themed so will have to get in the mood if you know what I mean.
I have also made the big decision to join Stampin Up as a demo. I am holding a couple of taster classes so you can check out the lovely products and have a go. Dates booked are 30/6 1-3.30 and 3/7 1-3.30. We will be making 3 projects, lots of fun stuff including a raffle and refreshments. The class will be held at my home in Maidstone, but if numbers are up I will hire a local hall. For more details email alpha.2004@blueyonder.co.uk. I will be starting a new Stampin Up blog shortly and will post a link here.
I also have an independent demo at HobbyCraft in Maidstone on Saturday 20/6/09. We will be looking at Rubber Stamping techniques and making some inky backgrounds with the Cuttlebug.
Stop Press new demo dates for Docrafts I will be at Invicta Crafts, Notcutts Garden Centre, Maidstone on Sunday 5th July, The Range Clacton on Saturday 11th July and The Range Romford on 18th July. Hope you can pop in and see me.

Crafty Outing and New Box of Goodies
Sorry I have not posted for a little while. Easter came and went. Had a lovely crafty day out with my sister, Karen. We went to the Glitter Pot and spent some money, had a lovely lunch and then spent some time crafting. Sadly I could not find my camera so you missed my masterpiece (joking). I let my sister take the cards I made home as she has been corrupted by me and likes to keep them for inspiration. It was a magnolia card, theme chocolate and pink and did turn out rather well, never mind, I might steal it back when I find my camera.
Great news, my new box from Docrafts arrived today, what a treat, some parchment craft tools and vellum (better get on the internet for a tutorial on that one!), gorgeous stamps and papers, really nice hand made flocked papers. If you can get a Goody Bag this time you won't be disappointed, well worth the £14.99. I have some time off next week so will be making up my samples. If I can find my camera will finally be some new piccies to look at. I will be at Invicta Crafts in Notcutts Garden Centre, Maidstone on Sunday 3rd May, do come along if you can.

Count Down to Next Craft Essentials
Looking forward to May when the next Craft Essentials promotion launches. New Mag should be out at the beginning of May. A spoiler over the the Docrafts Website, gave a few tantalising details. Sounds like there will be a range of Co-ordintions cardstock in white with a coloured core, more from Daisy and Dandelion and the Claire Curd Signature Range. So lots to look forward to. Have just found a home for my last box of goodies so now need to make space for more!
On a different note I have just bought some Magnolia and Whiff of Joy stamps so I am hoping to have a play as I am now off with the kids til after Easter (supposed to be doing the garden but we are bound to get one rainy day, please). If I get them made I will post them here first. My Blog Candy will also be posted in the next couple of days as an Easter Suprise, so watch this space. TFL Sarah
